Raven shook his head. "I am no hunter Dawn"he told the Alpha. He glanced at the hunters, his younger sister Night was on the trail of a elk. He watched her move in with the other hunters and bring the elk down.
Raven nodded before turning his head back to his younger sister. She was dragging the elk towards them the other hunters at her side. She dropped it after reaching the center of camp then ran back to join the hunters who had found another one. Raven had to smile at his sisters eagerness to hunt. He watched them start towards the other elk quickly and almost wished he could run with them. "i can't he muttered to himself, "i am a Beta not a hunter"
Raven glanced at her, he just shook his head. Then he got to his feet and walked over to a group of middle ranking wolves." Want to patrol the border?" Raven asked. They nodded and he padded away leaving the hunt behind
"Uh-huh," retorted Dawn. She stood and paced around in circles. She knew that the Frost Pack expected to meet the Alpha Male in the next few weeks, but the Male Alpha is gone, and if he doesn't show up, Frost Pack might declare war on the Dark River Pack.
"No one know," she muttered. "No one knows..."
"If we could just nominate a new one... He won't forgive any of us."
Dawn looked around. The camp seems fine.
